Calgary VegFest 2026

A brand-new VegFest event is coming to Calgary in September

On Saturday, September 5th we are taking over the Sunalta Community Hall and Hub (two buildings) and adjacent City park to transform the area into a vibrant gathering place to celebrate vegan, plant-based and sustainable living.

There will be educational speakers, interactive booths, hands-on-learning, live music, family-friendly activities, and lots of delicious plant-based food and products. Join us and be a part of the community!

Plant-based and the plant-curious alike are all welcome to come to an inclusive family-friendly setting where you can discover new ideas, try plant-based products, and support sustainable food and living. The event is open to the public by donation at the entrance.

Calgary Vegan Society is a 100% volunteer-run grassroots non-profit organization based in Calgary that is committed to hosting accessible, fun and community-focused events and programs that provide education on plant-based living, encourage inclusivity and compassion within our community, support local businesses, and ultimately strengthen sustainable living in our city. After the success of previous vegan events, the organization is ready to tackle larger projects and bring a real VegFest event back to the city.
